Airflow and Zone Control Air System

American ALDES’ airflow and zone control products are designed to introduce flexibility and dynamic control to any central ventilation system. Millions of constant airflow regulators (CARs) have been installed to eliminate ventilation issues such as stack effect and poor airflow balance to ensure precise regulation of building ventilation systems. Precise regulation of building ventilation systems saves energy by reducing the load placed on heating and cooling systems. The patented ZRT zone controls save additional energy by boosting exhaust ventilation rates only in occupied spaces, eliminating wasteful ventilation in areas that do not require it.

CAR-II HP

Airflow and Zone Controls CAR-II HP

American ALDES CAR-II HP - High Pressure sized 4 inches to 10 inches Round. The CAR-II-HP is designed for high pressure duct systems with an optimal operating range from 0.6 to 2.4" w.g. We recommend using the standard CAR-II unit at a lower duct pressure whenever possible to reduce leakage, minimize velocity, and save energy.

The CAR-II HP compensates for changes in duct pressure caused by thermal stack effect, building pressure, dust clogging of filters, etc. The CAR-II HP also provides a low cost solution to balancing forced air systems for heating, air conditioning and ventilation, eliminating the need for on-site balancing. The CAR-II will regulate airflow in supply, return or exhaust duct systems.
