American ALDES’ airflow and zone control products are designed to introduce flexibility and dynamic control to any central ventilation system. Millions of constant airflow regulators (CARs) have been installed to eliminate ventilation issues such as stack effect and poor airflow balance to ensure precise regulation of building ventilation systems. Precise regulation of building ventilation systems saves energy by reducing the load placed on heating and cooling systems. The patented ZRT zone controls save additional energy by boosting exhaust ventilation rates only in occupied spaces, eliminating wasteful ventilation in areas that do not require it.

Airflow and Zone Controls CER-S-IIR

American ALDES CER-S-IIR - RETROFIT Constant Exhaust Register (Square / Rectangular Duct). These Airflow Control devices are self balancing, and automatically regulate airflows in duct systems to constant levels.

The CAR-II element within each device compensates for changes in duct pressure caused by thermal stack effect, building pressure, or dust clogging of filters. These devices also eliminate the need for on-site balancing in exhaust and return air duct systems.
