Millions of constant airflow regulators (CARs) have been installed to eliminate ventilation issues such as stack effect and poor airflow balance to ensure precise regulation of building ventilation systems. Precise regulation of building ventilation systems saves energy by reducing the load placed on heating and cooling systems. The patented ZRT zone controls save additional energy by boosting exhaust ventilation rates only in occupied spaces, eliminating wasteful ventilation in areas that do not require it.

American ALDES HCG - Automatic humidity controlled airflot. The HCG – Humidity Controlled Grille is one of a family of demand controlled exhaust ventilation grilles that automatically modulate the exhaust airflows in response to the relative humidity of the room in which it is located. Designed for mechanical exhaust systems in homes and institutional dwellings, this terminal permits airflow directly proportional to the humidity level, responding to the presence and activity level of the occupants of the space.
